Wantage Field Club

Wantage Field Club meets on the second Friday of every month (except August), at 7.30 pm for talks, generally illustrated with slides, on natural history or conservation, archaeology or local history, followed by coffee. Venue: Civic Hall, Portway, Wantage. There is usually an outing relevant to the talk at the weekend.

Activities and services:

  • Talks on nature and nature conservation, and map reading (annual membership £11.50 and visitors £1.50).
  • Nature outings

Generally Oxfordshire, but also Wiltshire.
