The Vale of the White Horse Conservation Group exists to involve people of South and West Oxfordshire in practical conservation work of community value. There is no membership - the group operates merely as an informal gathering of like-minded individuals with mutual objectives and interests (consumption of chocolate biscuits included!).
Activities and services:
Opportunities for practical conservation work - contributions can be as strenuous and as frequent as desired, with the emphasis on enjoyment and learning rather than hard work:
- Hedge laying
- Post and wire fencing
- Woodland work, etc
- Seek to work with other conservation groups/parishes in identifying conservation task
