Charity no: 295502
The Society's aims are to increase knowledge and appreciation of birds among its members and the public at large, to study the bird life of the county, and to record and publish results of its studies. Founded nearly 80 years ago, the Society has access to a wealth of ornithological data, and these together with special studies conducted from time to time are used in the interests of conservation. The membership comprises both amateurs and experts; all are welcome.
