The Oxford Brookes University is one the of the leading "new" universities for research. Most of its activities (research and collaborations) relevant to nature conservation preside in its School of
Life Sciences, although there are some links into its School of the Built
Environment Research strengths include ecology, conservation biology, wildlife resource management, ecological impact assessment.

- A comprehensive pool of experts who can advise or collaborate in conservation-research initiatives, etc,
- MSc Students involved in the development of management plans in sites of high conservation value
- Speakers available - for specific research areas, time permitting
