Four Parish Plan
The Four Parish Plan is a joint approach to nature conservation involving the villages of North Moreton, South Moreton, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell and Little Wittenham.
The Plan promotes environmental awareness and activity amongst the local farmers and communities, and uniquely co-ordinates Parish Conservation Plans with Whole Farm
Conservation Plans. Participants all aim to know more about wildlife in their neighbourhood and co-operate to find practical ways of enhancing it. Hedge, ditch and bird
surveys are all under way and a hedge management leaflet has been produced. Advice on developing this sort of joint approach is available.
