Forest Enterprise
Forest Enterprise is responsible for the management of forests and woodlands owned by the nation.
Its objectives include the production and supply of timber for the wood using industry, the conservation of wildlife in its forests and the provision of wide-ranging
recreation opportunities. External groups may visit Queen Wood, Cowleaze Wood, Christmas Common and Bernwood Forest.
Geographic coverage: This is a national government organisation. The Downs and Chilterns Forest District is listed here and covers East England including Oxfordshire
