The CEH staff at the Wytham field laboratory are part of a network of sites which monitor and undertake scientific research on environmental change across Britain.
Their interest therefore includes the ecological effects of climate and general environmental change. Their scientists monitor the woodland ecology,
plants and animals in the Wytham Estate, as well as land use, air pollution, climate, hydrology, etc.
The data is fed into national recording schemes as well as the ECN database at CEH Merlewood Research Station.
Geographic coverage: This is a national network. The address listed concentrates on collecting data from the Wytham Woods and Farm, and Cumnor and Wytham parishes.
