The Society aims to maintain the special qualities of the Chiltern Hills.
It comprises several sub-groups, including Conservation Volunteers; Historic Works and
Buildings; Rights of Way; Rivers and Wetlands; and Planning. The Conservation Volunteers
teams often work in partnership with other local groups, undertaking tasks at the request
of Parish Councils, local amenity groups, and private individuals.
