British Waterways

British Waterways cares for 2,200 miles of the country's canals and rivers. Part of its remit is to manage the waterways in an environmentally sensitive way, and protect biodiversity. British Waterways encourages the public to visit the waterways, and holds an annual Wildlife Survey, details of which can be found at www.waterscape.com
