jubilee groups

For the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002 the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire tasked ONCF to help set up ten new local groups  that would look after a wildlife site in their community.

"The project has been much harder work, thrown up more difficulties and taken longer than expected. But it has enabled proper conservation  of at least one SSSI and put the wind in the sails of several local volunteer groups." Robin Buxton.

There are two sites in each district around the county and are in the following locations:

Barton Fields Abingdon 6
Breach Wood Hailey 2.4
