BAP Support

Funders

ONCF is very grateful to Natural England for supporting the Rebuilding Biodiversity in Oxfordshire Project to 2008. The support is subject to match funding and we need to raise half of the total cost of the project to release the money from Natural England.

We are waiting to hear on various bids that have gone to funding bodies.

Without support there would be no resources to employ someone to co-ordinate the Oxfordshire BAP and progress would be severely limited. Thank you.

Partners

It is ONCF’s job to co-ordinate the BAP process, but without all the organisations working on their projects throughout the county there would be very little progress to speak of. Some of these projects are mentioned in the Oxfordshire BAP, Current Activities section.

Thank you to all our partners working hard to progress the Oxfordshire BAP.

How can you help?

Biodiversity conservation is not just the responsibility of the government, nature conservation organisations or businesses. One of the most exciting things about local biodiversity action planning is that there is a role for EVERYONE to play, whether it is by doing practical conservation work on your own or with a local team like tree planting, nest box building or digging ponds. ONCF member organisations have lots of volunteers doing conservation work and learning conservation skills throughout the county. If you would like to get involved with your local conservation Community Group, please look at our Local Groups pages or contact  Cynth or telephone 01865 407034 to find out where your nearest group is.
